Button is Ali Nejad, evil HORSE genius. My read on Oliver is that he can be very aggro, but typically very solid, by which I mean I wouldnt put it past him to be raising flop and turn to get free card, was this optimistic (stupid) on my part on the turn? I was very worried about a fourth heart falling, which lead me to make many of the above decisions. anyways. Note that I do not have the K of hearts.

This is kind of rough because I dont see Ali raising preflop with two hearts in general. I guess it would have made me feel better if he had the ace of hearts with another ace or AK hearts. He held T, 9 of hearts for the winning ten high flush. This is one of those situations where I was going to lose money no matter what, but I probably lost more than I needed to by raising the turn. Anyway, I dont often play this high and lately Ive had some bad luck at the higher levels.

The 8/16 Horse game on Full Tilt is a good one, particularly if you have Ali or another pro in it, because there are some poor players who just want to play with Ali. I have alot of confidence in my HORSE game, maybe too much, but in general I think that is a good thing. Problem is Im not rolled for it, and a few bad results like the one above kick me right out of the game. I have had the thought that I should make a significant deposit on FT and really make an effort in this game, but I should probably study a bit more before doing that, and I am also waiting to be allowed rakeback. (I have been assured that I am a valuable customer, not like at Mandalay Bay where the notes on my Blackjack play are to the effect that “I jump around alot” no comps for the counters)

Im also back at low limit HORSE on stars, and that isnt going particularly well either. All I can say is may God and the ringmaster help these clowns once I get some some cards. Anyway, poker is a constant challenge, thats what makes it interesting and Im far from giving up my dreams of becoming a consistant winner. Still have not had to reload on stars all year, and when its all said and done, Im very proud of that. Studying Omaha 8 and will blog on how that goes.

Another thing that has gone poorly is trying to qualify for WSOP usuing frequent player points. I have largely blown thru the points I had saved up for that purpose, with no good results. Its a long story, but you really have to avoid tons of bullets to do well in these “freerolls” and I have instead caught every bullet right in the face. Anyways, like I say, Im one stubborn bastard, so we shall see.

This morning I played some no limit for the first time in maybe six months, nice change of pace and I am up four big blinds there. $2 clams, ya im going to Disney Land, so Goofy and Mickey, yall better put your big pants on and gird your loins, cause Im comming for ya, learn to fold, bitches..
