Intro, Limit Holdem Study

Allright my bruthas and sistas, its time to blog about my poker experiences. I just completed a three month period of study in Limit Holdem. Ended up a small winner at .5/1, mostly played on stars. My goal was to get a bit better at LHE, in order to become a better HORSE and mixed game player, which I think worked out fairly well. Most likely not the best limit holdem player in the world, but not bad anymore either. Part of the issue is that the play at these stakes really is bad to a point that it is hard to adjust.

In any event, my study of limit holdem is over for now and Im glad as I was getting very tired of that game and the players in it.

Bankroll wise Im stuck at around $500. I would of course like it to be more, but I will say I deposited $300 on P stars in Jan of this year and have not had to reload, having built that intitial stake to $500. Last year, my first year playing, I did have to reload a few times so this is a big improvement.

Anyways, this morning I played some low limit HORSE for the first time in months and it was real nice not to be in the same old limit game for a change. Did very well in the game and felt like I knew exactly what I was doing in the limit holdem portion which was encouraging.

Next I am going to address my Omaha 8 game, again to become a better all around HORSE player.

Planning a trip to Vegas in early June, and looking forward to doing some WSOP event(s) in July, depending on my BR.
