Hectic

Things are really so hectic at work lately that I dont even get a chance to post my hand histories.  Usually I like posting my HH or replying to any posts.  Its a bit difficult now since I got promoted at my job so I have been really busy.

My poker game right now I would say is improving.  Thanks to Zuberi, he has guided me and gave me some interesting approaches to add to my game.  I'm definetly experiencing the benefits.

Tonight I'm gonna be playing and looking forward to a great session.

Quick Update

I havent written in my blog in a while so wanted to share my progress.

I have Zuberi as my mentor and so far he has really been awesome and I appreciate the time he is putting in to help me out.

I really enjoy sharing and bouncing ideas of each other. I highly recommend having someone to talk poker to since it will open your eyes on certain spots. Just having the discussion itself is +EV.

Last session we had, it was a sweat session and played for about an hour. I ended up being up one BI. I started 2 tabling then ended up 4 tabling. :)

I originally started playing a typical ABC style and working with Zuberi he seems to be molding me to a LAG. This is good since it allows me to change my image/style.

Hope to give more feedback soon.

Good luck at the tables!

Got Zuberi as my mentor... FTW

Okay guys, just wanted to share how I was the lucky one that draw the straw. I’m getting our very own DC member Zuberi to coach me. He offered it to our microstakes crew and I was the lucky one he picked….

I always look forward in sharing ideas/thoughts with someone who plays better than me. Will keep you guys posted on my progress. Exciting times!!!

BTW I played some 2 tabling 50NL this weekend and I’m up with 4 buy ins although I did play on the shortstack tables.

I have finally adjusted to the table dynamics.

I’m just happy to say I have fully adjusted to the table dynamics at FT. I have about 20K hands and I’m playing my usual 4 tabling 25NL. This rakeback thing is awesome and I really should have done this a long time.

Basically lost a ton of money from RB at PS, I’m glad guys here at DC convinced me to switch to a rake back affiliate.

I remember the first week of Feb at FT was down almost a full 14 BI swing. I was so close to dropping to 10NL. I’m even glad I started getting rakeback and the deposit bonus.

Anyways I’m back on course.

3 good sessions at FT, so far looking good.

Okay I think this time I could say I have adjusted at FT. I was definitely playing too many tables to begin with. I 4 table 25NL at pokerstars and I guess I ended up becoming a bot there.

So when I switched I was thinking I could do the same plus I have rakeback at FT. Wrong!

Anyways now I’m 2 tabling but the good news I’m booking win sessions. I’m not able to exploit some weak players. One thing that I have been doing differently is table selecting. Totally took this out when I played at PS and in FT its a bonus since I think there are more better players in FT.

What about you guys? Anyone noticing that FT regs are better than PS in 25NL.

Good luck at the tables.

Looking forward to my session on the weekend.

Played my first session this weekend at FT.

The Good
I’m happy that I switched to FT since I’m now able to get rakeback. Plus I maximized the deposit bonus of 600 so I played this weekend and cleared $40 for it.

The Bad
Still adjusting to using the software and table dynamics. I do notice some lagging on FT poker software. I think Pokerstars software is way better in software.

The Ugly
Tried rush poker lost 2 BI, adjusting to 25NL table dynamics at FT lost 4 BI’s. Currently from a results point of view not looking good but I was getting terrible cards so its some variance.

Conclusion
Given all the negative things at FT, its still +EV to stay. I’ll keep you posted on how things go.

Looking forward to my FullTilt transition

Okay I cashed out my BR from Pokerstars, well I left maybe like $20 on it but regardless I’m focused on the transition to FT.

I’m going to be signing through DC to get rakeback plus and hopefully soon be able to earn enough to get a subscription.

I 4 table 25NL at PS, since I dont know what to expect I was thinking of maybe 2 tabling just to get the feel for the dynamics plus I hope to make sure that my HEM will be working.

Wish me luck this weekend its time to GRIND!!!

Cashed out my $$$ to transfer....

Okay I cashed out my $$$ on Pokerstars and now ready to do my initial deposit to Fulltilt. I left around $20 something in Pokerstars. The good news I get to take advantage of the $600 initial deposit of FullTilt. Anybody know how long that would take in 4 table 25NL? How many hands required?

Anyways I just hope that I adjust to the table dynamics since it would suck if I get owned there.

Will keep you guys posted on my status?

Good Luck at the tables.

Cleared my $50 bonus

Just a short update

Remember from my previous blog I was considering the switch to FT. I cleared my $50 bonus from Pokerstars and need to clear my next $50 and then I’m off.

I’m actually looking forward to switching to FT. I’m curious to how the table dynamics is, I’m even unsure if I should first drop to 10NL to get a feel for the game then jump up to 25NL.

I’m curious to see how much cash I actually get back from rakeback.
