Donk on the river

I’ve recently win a 500FPP satellite to play the 22€+R satellite to the EPT Snowfest.We was 80 players for one seat to the EPT Snowfest + 1000€ for the winner.I was doing well, without any rebuy I was the third stack of the tournament.

I’ve noticed that a guy just near me was a maniac, but probably the biggest maniac I’ve ever seen.The guy did more than 40 rebuy during this tournament.At some point, the rebuy chips was lower than the blinds, but he still rebuy! He gave me a lot of chips, like this one:

It was in the early beginning of the tournament but he puts its bet so fast and I was sure that I didn’t have an ace with its donkbet, so I’ve called.Pretty happy with my read!

Just before the rebuy period ends, I’d an big opportunity to double up, so I took it but unfortunalely, a big donk who spend his time to put some big stack all in UTG called me with QJ.Of course he made a backdoor straight.

After this ugly hand, I’ve tryed to coming back, but it was impossible, especially without any rebuy.So I’ve finished 36th, but I think that its a pretty nice result for my beginning in EPT satellite, without rebuy.

The guy who made 40 rebuy finally get is ticket to the EPT Snowfest, but he probably spend more in satellite ticket than the original buy in of the EPT!

Yesterday I has some FPP’s to spew, so I’ve tried to play some Hyper Turbo sat to the Sunday Million.Very bad idea!
