How coaching can kill ur brain

Okay guys first of all im writing totally drunk.

I just had coaching by problebly one of the best Fl player called Kobeyard. I played on public german radio for a free caoching and my brain is totally messed up at the moment.

So let us come to the situation, i was all excited about the free coaching at my new limit 1/2 where i wanted to play with 300BB. (I just want to crush the limits with a pretty loose Brm) But instead of crushing I just felt like a complite donk, I couldnt answere one of his questions. He just showed me how far im away from reality where i could be a regular at these stakes.
It was brutal!!!!!!!!!11

But even thow i can just go to bed happily! This is because I realysed how many leaks I have! And Im gonna work on them till i am gonna beat that guy at 100/200

Plo content which one next?

So guys today doesnt seem to be my day.

Tommorrow im gonna write a test about physiks (pretty gay i know thats why i want to do full time pro) and I played a small session (1k Hands) of Nl10.
It was a day of a lot of set ups, but i guess every one would have brought it in so im not to worrierd about loosing 5 stacks.

U might ask why nl, because i can just multitable nl10 that easy and play it with positive ev much easier and with less varianz than plo. And i want to get at least silver star next month for bonus clearing purposes.

What makes me more worried is my plo game, at the moment im kind of down, I just dont feal confitale what im doin, soo i need to improve sooo bad! But how can i do this the most effecient way. This month is really stressfull and im not able to work as hard as I want to, hope next month i can improve my game more frequenlty.

Back to Topic at the momenant im watching Omahawks, but what can be next, i really want to work on 3betting, and postflop thinking

DP love u guys

Dc Pro

so lets update this blog a litle bit.

First of all KisinoKrime i really like what I see in the series of Omahawks. the biggest point is the advantage of seeing how u guys plan a hand by asking following questions and so on.

So to everyone who wants to have an advice u should first watch a series like 2*6 and later go on with Omahawks.
-—————————————————————————————

So back to my life, this month doesnt seem like the best month to focus on poker to much since I have to do a lot of studding even though I will go on work hard!
-————————————————————————————————————
I realised that a goal would be great to have, I thought I should shot as high as possible, so even if I am not able to accomplish it im not to sad about it.
I decided that I want to become DC pro! Acctually I dont have any clue how to get there, but im gonna find it out. (I would be really glad if some coach could tell me how to contact Kranz for a sick challange)

So enough of the future talk lets get back to the reality and hard life of a fish!
-———————————————————————————————————————

Omahawks ep.2

By the way i really didnt like the first ten minutes since they were just pre mistackes which I think shouldnt be discussed in a format like this. Even though i really liked the rest of it and I think I got some nice analyzing going on.

Okay first hand is at 15:02 AK48 with a suite to the ass
What u guys think about 3betting this hand. Next to us is a shortstack and the big stack is Betting in us sb vs BB after the ss limps.
I wouldnt give the Big stack a real big hand, since he might just want to use our blind as dead money and than get it in cheaply against the shorty. Even though we cant call because the shorty could wake up take a shot.
So in my Opinion his range would be a lot of some suited rundowns or crappy nearly conected hands, might even been QQ or KK.
I would say it is really profitable to go ahead and just reraise. I want to accomplish to blow up the pot with the shorty behind us, and play a big pot ip against the big stack. Ak is probably not in a to bad shape against the ranges. Most oponens will give us AA** so that we can Cbet a lot and flops and flip against the Shorty with a lot of dead money. What do u guys think about this line??

Okay lets discuss this 923J hand at 21:04
Flop:
first of all i like check folding the flop better than betting, since we arent getting anything to fold, especially against the shorty. But Lets get some diffrent scenario. Lets say we bet out and get called.
Turn:
This turn is probably the best blank we can get Even though i wouldnt second barrel here.
because the shorty gonna commit his stack way to often and we are not able to get value from worst hands. (they would have folded to the flop bet.

River:
What would we do if the River tourns an T A or Q, it seems like the ultimate Bad ass cards.
Is a bluff profitable? If we Bluff 1/2 of the pot which would mean sth around 4.00 after betting the flop and checking the turn. (on the river there should be around 7 50 by now if the shorty is calling). We can get 2 pair to fold, we get bare overpairs with u missed gutshot to fold. If the Q hits we get all draws to fold (thats important since if we would have checked its a check fold imo). The most important question might be if the shorty is ever behind.

So we weighted up enough.

My line would be Check folding flop. If i bet out im gonna check fold the turn
or check fold nearly all rivers.

So now the most interresting hand in my opinion. 30:00 A376ss
Checking the flop should clear.

Flop: sure im betting out.

Turn (its getting intersting)
Betting out or not.
What should betting do:
Protect, I think ur guys most viewed point is protecten but I weighted between checking and betting out and I did some math.
the pot was like 4.25 so if we bet out to protect we gonna do it big. lets say we bet out 3.75. So the pot is gonna be around 11 dollars and 12 more to go from his stack.
He will always call I guess (might fold the downside of the Oesd).

River:
The river is the clue why i would choose to check behind, its all Pot controll.
I mean what kind of river (if not a fh) do we really want to see, If a blank hits, we have an easy call. But all other cards (and there are a lot to go) are tough calls or folds. I would just check behind to make our river decision as easy as possible. Isnt it right if we bet out the turn, we have to call most of the river, because one or another draw is going to bust and we are not getting the money in on the turn if he doesnt have the nuts.

Okay guys thats all i watched today, im just to tierd to go on learing I will review the other interesting hands hopefully tomorrow if im not way to wasted.

I would really be happy if i get some more comments!
And im gonna fix my bad english in this post tommorow just hoping u guys arent to appeled

But wtf i just posted this new chapter and I really dont like the appearance of the blog. can i fix it that new post going down on the side, or do i have to post it as a comment?

Plo Blog!

So welcome to my blog:
To my person: my name is Maximilian Schmidt, im 19 years old. At the moment im a Student from germany and my English is probably not as good as it should be. So i apolagize if im not able to use propper english.

Enough from the introduction lets start.

My poker history:

I began with 50 dollars on Full tilt

I played some fl (5k hands) (0.05/0.1) than I started with some Nl Fr and shorthanded, which wasnt really succesfull. But than my life changed by playing a 5$ Mtt where i was able to cash 700 bugs. (no need to say that it was pure luck) One day later I could reach second place in a 2$ Mtt, where i could cash 300 more. So my bankroll got a pretty nice Upswing. Since my mind told me that im not strong enough to beat the higher limits yet. I decided to Cash out 400 dollars, which i used to sign up for DC. It was always my dream playing Plo Cash game, but the swings are high, so that my Bankroll didnt alowed me to play it. 2 Month ago I cahshed out the rest of my br and decided to take a shot at a 600 dollar First Deposite Bonus at Pokerstars. I tried to play some Plo 10 and a Plo25 shot which wasnt really succesfull. After 6k hands plo10 im ten stacks down, and on 200 Hands plo25 I lost nearly 3 stacks. That was a pretty bad start and a cooler for my mind set.
That was the last two month of my poker life, I couldnt play to much since I nearly had no time and its tough to get a sample by playing 4 Tables Plo.
I recognized that my game is just to bad to beat rake, even if the sample is that small.
I chosed to Buy OmahaManager and now im starting this blog.

What is this blog all about?

You can call me nuts, but i want to become the best Plo player in the world. Im not kidding my target (I dont know if i should call it goal) is to become a pro. I wouldnt consider myself as smart or talanted, thats why I want to work my butt off!
I just cant cottom up on a normal living with working in an office.

Thats one of the motivations to start this Blog, next to keep my motivtion high, I want to discuss videos and would be thankfull about all help I could get from users.

Get the Party started!
1. Theorie
2. Playing
3. Analization

This gonna be the 3 Points for the next time of my life. I try to make every day theorie (like videos and Hand posting ect), than im gonna play some Plo , and after that i try to analyze my leaks and games.

This month will be the big Theorie month, which means im nearly not playing just doing Theorie. I hope to become more confidence on the tables and learn how to beat the games and the big rake most efficent.

When i first signed up i watched 2*6 which is a great series, but i wasnt to excited to really understand the fundamentels.
But now i want to use my full mind to concentrate on what im learning.

My br is 500 dollars
Im gonna start out with Plo5
After getting a feeling of equitys and ranges im going to play Plo10

Big Theorie month part 1:

Omahawks ep.1

cliff notes
-Ongame
-session review (played by a student)
-limit is Plo 25/25 sh (5 or less people)

The first thing that really got into my head was the question “what is my advantage?”
I really tried to think about, what is giving me money?
In my opinion my advatages are
-im playing AA** better
-Im able to play my draws aggressive
-Im folding more trashi hands preflop
-I know that playing in position is a big advatage over playing oop
That is the list I came up with, when i thought about the Question. I just started to realize that my edge which i get from the points I wrote cant be big enough to beat a 7 BB or even higher rake.

So I made a list of points I want to accomplish as soon as possible
-3betting (i just dont know what to 3bet)
-planning the hand correcly (sometimes i just come to a point where im not able to go on playing, i need a game plan for all streets, thats prob the biggest leak i have)
-Bluffing (I dont read my opponents right, i bluff into a calling station for example and so on)
-value betting (sometimes i have the feeling i check behind to many rivers and loose a lot of value)
-mindset

Ok thats probably the leaks I realize by know, which shouldnt mean thats it :)

Lets get a Hand discussion on, and I would be really happy if good players could check my logic into hands.

Hand 7:04 5TKQ ss in the small blind:

Preflop: If someone raise it im just folding this, I dont want to play this kind of hand Multiway or hu oop, since its not to the nuts and our wrap potential shouldnt be big enough to play the hand +ev or just really marginal.

But what happended now is a fold to us, so we gonna play sb vs bb.

Raise or Check?
I prefere checking here since the bb is pretty short stacked and he is probably gonna 3 bet us lighly.

So i would check it, if he would have raised me i would call it, even if its probably pretty loose, and we are oop. I would just hope to hit some kind of flop like 2 pair or pair +fd and check raise him pretty often.

The flop is As9hQh
If he would have raised my im just check folding on this flop. Since he didnt raised me the game plan changed a little bit.

His range can be any 4 except from pretty strong hands which he would have 3betted. Even though i think the board is way to wet to cbet and than check fold the turn.
So my line would be check folding the flop. If he checks back and a nother heart hits the turn i would bet out sth like 3/4 pot. Normaly i bet out 1/2 when a flush is possible, but since i normaly play my draws aggresive, i would let it look like a missed check raise, and that i want to extract value. If he is still calling i would just check fold.
If a blank hits, i would also bet out. The point about not betting here is that i think he is not gonna bluff a board like this to often and so we can get a cheap information about his hand strenght?

Hand 14:35 AhQh8hJc
Ok now we get to one of my leaks 3 betting, especially oop!
So I get the point why this hand is in generell good to 3 bet. Its not a hand we want to play Multiway because we hit most flops, but not hard enough.
I dont like to call the flop but would do it, since the A is suited. (if it wouldnt i would just fold) What do we want to reach by 3betting this kind of hand?
-get Hu
-get value

In this particular situation i just do not find any reasons to 3 bet. We will not get Hu and I cant see getting Value. Even if the flop Is 339 i see at least someone be dumm enough to call with an overpair or sth else?? But even if they would fold to this flop, I cant find enough profitable flops to ship it in first to act.

The game plan if we would 3 bet this flop, would be to Cbet (into 3 people??)and hope they all fold especially with a donkey like coast89?

Hand 29:40 QQ88ss

Preflop it should be pretty easy raise i guess.
On a reraise i would call it.

Flopplay:
I like to Cbet 1/2 of the pot, since the fold equity should be equal. If he calls im gonna give up most of the turns. I would bet ones more an Ace to get overpairs folded and every blank non spade card like 7 of hearts, again i would bet small. My intention on the river is nearly always to check behind, if the draw bust all the way iwould call if he leads out, since it doesnt make a lot of sence, if he wouldnt have hit his Fh.

Turn play
so the A scenario happens, so i would bet out again and see what my opponent is doing.

River:
Second A turns up if he checks i would check behind, since i cant really see any 5 giving up and if he would call the bet on the turn i would fire, he is probably not holding an overpair. If he bets im in pretty big trouble, but srsly i woudl just fold. since our range looks strong as heck, and we can still be infront of draws

So Thank you guys this is now the first update :) hope to be able to update soon.

If u got any question pls just ask
