Seen on ESPN during the first 2010 WSOP episode (probably the single most popular series of poker media in the world):
Time to re-learn poker and positions.
Because being in the blinds is just like being on the button. Except that it isn't.
hahahhahaha utg + 2 XD
Took me a good two minutes to figure out what was wrong lol.
Okay, the late positions I can understand: since obviously preflop matters more than postflop in this game, who cares you're gonna be OOP for the rest of the hand? But the HJ preceding being the CO is just golden. As far as I remember, Tommy Angelo named HJ that because you can hijack the button from the BTN player. What's going on here, I guess, is that you can hijack the cut-off from someone. Soooo advanced :)
HJ does precede CO...
@Rigged! - me too.
wow, eight handed seems to be a totally different game ;)
ESPN are geniuses and are talking about all new preflop position theory.
Isn't UTG the new button?
WOW, you guys have REALLY changed NLHE since I last played it !!! :0
I have a lot to learn if I want to get back into it
How does somebody even make this mistake?
