So, here's the plan...
“If you
can dream it, you can do it.”
- Walt Disney
It
is with great honor that, that I can present my third blog, within a
month; I never thought that would really happen! But I’ve been
getting a lot of great response from you guys, which really motivates
me – so thank you very much!
In my last blog I
talked about starting my cash game adventures in May or something
like that. I’m been looking at it, and instead I’ll be starting
out next month. NL10 or NL25 on either Ladbrokes (Microgaming) or
Mansion (iPoker). I’ll decide which site later. Then I’ll use
this month for studying. I’m planning on finishing HOH: Volume 1
and then start on Elements of Poker, as I’ve mentioned in one of my
earlier blogs. I’ll also watch a lot (and I mean hopefully A LOT)
of DC videos - starting with the rest of the ‘From the Ground Up’
series.
The Study Group
As I’ve also
mentioned I’m in a study group, which so far is working out very
well. We often meet on Skype and make sweat sessions, we got our own
home game on Stars, and a very nice forum. Actually we are looking
for members, so come learn with me and the others guys! Take a look
here.
I’m
also planning on starting another study group, but don’t know if
that will happen or not. It depends on if people like the idea; it’s
about a ‘general’ study group, where motivation and learning is
one of the main focus points. Not just the average strategy talk, we
got plenty of those (and for a good reason), but a group for
ambitious poker players, that wants to get better and connect with
other players in the same position. For example help with the
motivation, suggestions on what articles and videos to watch ect.
ect.
I’m really excited about this month, where I will
learn as much as possible, but also next month where I’ll kick off.
Can’t wait to be honest! I actually don’t know what else to write
in this post, so that’ll be it it and hopefully I have plenty more
next time! Remember I’m always ready to talk poker, and you can
catch me all over the interwebs, whether it’s Skype (nicklasdegn),
Twitter (nicklasdegn), MSN (degnovic@hotmail.com),
AIM (degnovic) or Facebook.
Once I would like to thank all my
readers! Hopefully my next blog will be more exciting than this
one!
Take care and good luck at the tables.
Degnovic
