Super 50- 53rd place out of 270. Played OK, the blinds/antes crept up a bit fast though, as despite doubling up early on I went super card dead and couldnt find many profitable spots to win significant chips. Then when there were <100 players, it turned into a shove/fold game, every hand, the big stacks just sat there, and at least 1 small stack shoving every hand, so my blind got pinched a lot, and every time i found a shoveable hand, there was a shove in front of me! ah!

Some of the play I witnessed was pretty terrible. 1 guy limped pre flop and i checked the BB with Q6. I flop two pair(Q 6 10), elect to check, as I noticed this guy liked to try and pinch with position and I was obviously confident I was ahead. So he leads out, half the pot. I counted my stack and it was too awkward to flat, and it would look super strong IMO as i’d leave around half my stack behind.

So anyway.

I hollywood a bit and shove. He tanks for AGES. Gives me the stare down, asks for a count, then looks at his chips. Im sat frozen thinking call call call call call call. He eventually calls, I flip my cards over, and am AMAZED to see he called with 8s! O RLY? So he calls an all check shove with two over cards on the board AND a pretty drawy board at that! WTF!

NH. I also saw a guy with, around 80k go busto in 3 hands, calling an all in with a gutshot straight draw for 40% of his stack, and shoving a J high flush on the river and getting called by a guy who so so blatantly on a flush draw, and villain had the Ace of clubs. LOL.

Seriously I thought £3.40 donkaments on pokerstars had fish! :)

but at least the gap is not massive, ive suffered some hideous injustice too with dull bad beat stories that will bore everyone so i wont go into it:)
