Bankroll Challenge, bring it!
OK as i write this im just finalising a bankroll challenge with a good friend of mine, oli. Basically we are both joining a pokersite for the first with the same roll ($50, Ultimate Bet), and we are playing 500 sit and gos. There is no time limit. We are playing a 40 buy in rule. Ie we start on $1s, if we get to $120 we can go up to $3 etc.
The reason for joining a new site is mainly for HEM purposes, easier to track stats on a new site to be fair.
The winner selects a £25 ($35) freezeout of choice, and the loser joins the winner, and pays the winner’s buy in.
I really feel this can/will be pretty close. Essentially, oli is a more experienced, successful and better player than me, I’m the first to admit it. However, Oli specialises almost exclusively in MTTs, I’ve crammed basically a lot of SnGos into a short space of time, with success, and all at Micros, so I’m used to facing these donks day in day out :)
Oli, if you’re reading this – i’m sure you’ll agree thats a fair summary. I look forward to this. Multiple blog posting to follow.
