Michellin star restaurant workshop, home cinema, and a lesson learned in cash

OK so this week has been pretty cool.

My gorgeous girlfriend got me half a day's workshop at the local michellin starred restaurant (restaurant sat baines, google it). It was amazing I made some bread, biscuits, prepared some chocolate fondant chatted to chefs and got some cool ideas for home food (they gave me a notepad and a pencil so i've writted down tons of recipes), and then finished with an amazing 3 course meal. The highlight of the meal was pressure cooked mutton shoulder. I have never eaten such tender meat in my life. Amazing.

Apart from that I waxed some money on a sony blu-ray 5.1 cinema system. WOW. Where have you been all my life? Inception, with surround in blu-ray is incredible!

OK now on to poker. I played 50p/£1 cash at dtd on friday. For people that havent been following my blog, i've basically profitted the last 5-6 times down there in a row, with cashes in a few home games too, so i've been running pretty hawt. I basically have never been so card dead and played as badly in a while as last friday! I kept spewing and then reloaded twice (first time not full but about half stack).

I went home a little tilted but hey u cant cash every single time u play. I learned from it though, I need to calm my tilt when im stuck as it definitely affected me negatively. Apart from that i'm geting some discussion going with Delliks off here as he's sent me some hand histories to review.

See ya
