monkey tilt in home games
Does anyone else get tilted in home games? I am starting to go on monkey tilt every time I play them!
Example. I play tighter than a mouse’s ear for the first 45 minutes of a recent home game, not opening a single pot. I then open in mid position to 3x with AJ suited, expecting my raise to get maximum respect, and possibly get heads up against someone. I get 3 callers (two out of the blinds, 1 on the button). FML.
Guys, i’m the tightest guy at the table! lol tiltaments. Needless to say I become crippled in the tourney in spectacular fashion when my 10 bb shove with pocket 5s is called by someone with jack 10 off who ‘wanted to gamble’.Apart from the monkey tilt (!) I do have good fun at home games with friends, it’s just a bit frustrating when people go on auto call mode (and hit every flop against me, not that i’m bitter) :P
