This hand is vs a standard TAG who is playing a 19/15 game, opening very tight in EP. Pre is standard. When checked to on the flop I figure there’s no good reason to not take a stab at the pot with our equity in the pot, even though I don’t think too much worse will call us. When he does call I put him on a QT type hand without a diamond or a Jx hand with or without a diamond, maybe something like TT with a diamond or 88 with a diamond, which now just made a set. I wasn’t really sure if I should have bet against this range, so I checked it back. The river comes a brick and he checks again, once again finding no value in a check decide to get to showdown.

I just need to know where I need to alter my thought process in a spot like this.
