Uncertainties
These are basically things I have been thinking about as of late that I feel like I don’t have a good enough grasp on yet. They are going to sound kind of random and scattered, but they’re more like several small concepts, most of them will revolve around preflop, in my genuine attempt to try and improve my game flow perception.
1. If you are 3betting somebody light, who is say a taggy unknown with no history, at what frequency are you 3betting him? Say you have direct position on him, how many hands need to pass before you 3b him light again? Do you every 3b somebody light multiple times in a row, if so which types of people.
2. With less than 120bb stacks, how often do you 4b/fold preflop? How many times in what time frame (just some random estimate will do) do you think is necessary to assess that somebody is 3betting you light a lot. I don’t want to over-adjust or under-adjust and I know a lot of it requires a feel to it but I feel like i’m going into it blindly right now.
3. How do you treat squeezes differently from normal 3bets? Both when you are making them, and facing them.
4. This last one isn’t really a question, just something on my mind. I don’t feel like i’m very good at the mental battle between other players, I just feel like I over-adjust too much and think people are making moves on me too quickly, like i’ll get 3b a couple times by the same guy and i’ll stack off light and get owned, or something of that nature. It’s like I don’t know how to avoid the strategy that I am trying to implement into my own game.
I don’t really know what to expect from you when you read this, so I mean if you could think about them and try to give me some general advice on what steps I should take to fixing these grey areas of my game that would be good.
