His exact stats aren’t super important, he was a tag who was aggressive in position, had a 11% 3b on btn and cb pretty frequently. Is this a good/standard line when we don’t just 4b pre?

Against a 35/5 who wasn’t very aggressive. My question is pretty much regarding my overall line and not any individual street.

Villain is 45/22 wtsd is 23, wwsf is 58. His stats aren’t terribly important as this is another hand where i’m just looking to see what the standard line is. I didn’t really think of it at the time, but how’s check/calling the turn for pot control and check/evaluating on most rivers?

Villain was like a 40/20 fish who 3b 13% over 40 hands from all positions. I’m not really sure what a better plan is for this flop if there is one, this is more of a checkup.

This guy was 26/19 calls 18% from the BB. I have no history with him or any real reads. I’m really confused by this line and have no idea how often this is a draw or how often it’s a made hand, if so I don’t know if it’s a KQcc type hand or a K9s type hand. Calling seems too weak because of the drawyness of the board, but raising against a range i’m not totally sure about also seems kinda spewey. What’s the plan for here (and the river if applicable).

This is a 24/22 reg who folds to lots of 3bets and doesn’t 4b a lot. I imagine the flop and turn are std but what should be our standard line on the river?

So the past week or so hasn’t been very good. Roll is at 6500, UB hasn’t replied back to me in a while.

I’m basically right where I was 2 weeks ago prior to that little 20 buyin upswing. The reason I think that is, is most likely because I have been playing 6-10 tables this month and when I play so many tables I feel like I just suck balls. I typically feel like I play really well when I play 1-3 tables. I can even see the immediate differences in things like non showdown. When I 3 or less table it’s a steady increasing line, when I play 4+ tables, it’s a sharp decrease.

The reason I think this is was most likely variance on both ends, I probably just ran really hot and then ran equally as cold to end up running about average. I don’t know why this is and i’m not really sure why I don’t have more of an edge on people. I feel like i’m actively doing lots of things that I know are +EV, things that other regulars aren’t doing, and certainly I have to be doing lots of things better than the weaker players all around. So i’m just not sure why I can’t seem to ever really turn a modest profit. Maybe everybody is just a much bigger loser, and the rake has a much bigger impact than I previously thought. .

Basically, I don’t want my graph to look like a blue 45* line going up, a green line going at a 1* angle up, and a red line going at a 45* angle down anymore. And the only way for me to do that is to play less tables. However where the problem lies with playing less tables is I feel like it will take a very long time to actually grind out a lot of hands, so the results are going to take longer. However since right now i’m basically breaking even aside from rakeback that doesn’t really matter I don’t think.

I guess I just want your input on the whole matter as I don’t know what is the exact best course of action to get back on the right track that I havn’t been able to get back on for some time now.

This guy was a 20/10 and the BTN was a fish, so my plan was to call preflop, keep in all of their dominated hands. If I flop TPTK i’m going to play the hand pretty fast and pretty much exactly how this hand played out. I just wanted to know if this was a good overall plan. As it typically goes against my standard of 3betting here preflop almost always.

This guy was a 43/17 who I had no history with, this was only my 3rd UTG at the table and I had seen nothing like this before from him. What should our calling range be? How do the players behind us affect that range?

MP: $389.15

BB: $220.35
Hero (UTG): $101.50

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is UTG with K Club K Diamond
Hero raises to $4, MP calls $4, CO calls $4, 3 folds

Flop: ($13.50) 4 Diamond Q Heart 2 Diamond (3 players)
Hero bets $9, MP calls $9, CO calls $9

Turn: ($40.50) 4 Club (3 players)
Hero requests TIME, Hero bets $31, MP calls $31, CO folds

River: ($102.50) 9 Diamond (2 players)
Hero requests TIME, Hero bets $55

Final Pot: $102.50

MP caller was a fish, he called a lot preflop and played pretty passively overall, CO was a tight regular, we had played together a fair bit and he usually just folds to all my 3bets and doesn’t get out of line or not that I have noticed.

I probably could have bet a couple bbs bigger on the flop and turn but aside from that I think they are both standard. When the reg called the flop and folded the turn, I figured his range from being any middle PP, or Qx. Which naturally weights the fishes range more towards draws. So with that said, would you still bet this river? We have 57.50 and the pot is 102 so bet folding is obv not an option. The reason I chose to bet 55 and leave 2.50 behind is because I think it’s worth sacrificing 2.5bbs of value for the fish not to have to be faced with an actual all in bet, but a bet that looks more weird/stupid because I left such a tiny amount behind. You can argue this makes no difference and vs a reg I don’t think it does but I do think it is worth it vs a fish.
