Continuum

It has been quite a while since I posted a blog and thought it would be a decent opportunity to record my thoughts and concerns. I have been recently thinking about the study progressive transition we as entities make throughout a period of time. It may not be noticable in a small term of time but over a relative period it can be quite noticeable I only bring this up as I sometimes try to reflect on the person I am right now and see what I could potentially be in due time. I'm wondering if as we progress or evolve that the changes we see within ourselves are as noticeable to others and how they perceive us? Such as the physical changes that time offers.

As for poker I'm playing 25nl at PokerStars when I have the time and am really enjoying the change of pace brought forth by zoom. The fast action creates some very nitty opponents but there is still plenty of money to be made at those tables. For now good luck to all in their eternal pursuit of fullfillment whatever that may be.

Time come and gone

Hello,

I have not posted a blog in almost 4 months since when I first joined the site. Since then I haven't achieved very much volume over the last few months as I was prioritizing dealing with other things as well as really lacking motivation to put in any serious volume. Not wanting to force myself to play when I don't want to. Now that I have more time I hope to start picking up volume and am looking to start grinding at a new site and am trying to gauge what options are best viable.

As I lack any real developments in poker I was going to talk about music. Music just like many of the industries is out there to push things that will "sell". Thereby the products they produce are trying to reach the widest possible appeal to sell the largest audience. This creating a watered down medicore product that floods the mainstream radios creating a saturated market of music. This should not be the only goal as it's a form of "art" quality should be put above quantity. The problem is in determining quality. How do you know something is good, especially if record labels push that artist? I am not saying music you may look can be played on the radio. Just that it's up to you to decide what is good and what's not and not the label who is funnelling you what they are selling. Included is a video of Jack's Mannequin lead singer Andrew McMahon

Mid Night Society

To those who may not know what the Midnight Society was a group of teenagers that would meet up and tell scary stories in the woods on the television show "Are you Afraid Of the Dark?" When I was a kid it happened to be one of my favorite shows  not because it held great graphics, (It was Canadian broadcasted) but because of the ability for it to unwind my younger selves greatest strength my imagination. Overtime on the show kids would come and go being replaced but the key principles of this institution  would remain. There would be a fire, there would be teenagers, and there would be stories that would be heard and appreciated on their own merit.

As was the case for the Mid Night Society to become a member you would be obligated to tell a story. With this being the case I have chosen to talk my poker journey so far. I started I FTP and just like everyone else got shutout of playing on that Friday. I started to rebuild in July with mixed results getting me to step away until mid November where I started to rebuild. I went from being massively under rolled for 4nl. To as of now being properly rolled 10nl with the ability to take shots at 25nl. Now I know this is just a start but every journey has to have a beginning somewhere.
