Mind on the grind
So lately I have been suffering from a lack of motivation in school and I keep finding myself in thinking only about what I’m going to do after I’m done. Only one idea really gets me excited and that’s becoming a poker pro. I feel I have the determination and motivation in doing so and it makes sense. However I am far behind in my studies and am currently procrastinating a paper writing this blog. So I really have to buckle down and finish this semester strong for the sake of my poker career.
In other news I challenged Joe Tall to a HU4rollz in which he seemed more than willing to risk 30k against me in a freezeout. Unfortunately I don’t have that kind of BR yet and am forced to only play a 3k freezeout. When the day came to play he said he couldn’t anymore and I haven’t heard anything from him since. This is probably for the best since I don’t think playing HU with a good stud player is the best EV situation for me, although I love a good challenge, as it challenges me to play my A game and really focus on making decisions.
