A winning week at 2NL - WOO-HOO!!!!

I have had a really good winning weekend and winning week at 2NL. Feels good. I have learnt a load from playing it more or less exclusively all month. I played a few session of 5NL this weekend and got unlucky in a few pots, but did not tilt and managed to get out of the hole.

I cannot stress enough to any uNL players that are struggling to check your ego drop down a level that you need to and put into practice the fundamentals we are all taught through DC videos and the forums. Being able to admit that I need to beat 2NL to be able to be uNL has been the best thing for my game. Understanding how to beat the "regs" and the fish at 2NL builds a disciplined and sound understanding of how uNL players thinks and how we can exploit them.

I know 2NL is frustrating as hell but it can be beat, if you respect the limit and find your way to beat it.

I have been sitting on $35 of rake back all month and I have not wanted to cash it in. 5NL plays not a lot differently from 2NL from what I have seen this past couple of days and I feel perhaps I can now take a 2-3 buy in shot properly really soon. :)

At the end of the month I will write a post outlining exactly what I have learn.

We are @44.5 BI's for 2NL (I have just about doubled my roll in a month)

I am a happy man tonight. :)
