Fear and Loathing at the Micros

OK - lost a couple of BI's yesterday, which is not a good thing. Never is. But after reflecting on this, I think now I am able to be objective and say how or why this happened. I know I played badly, that is easy to say. But can I specifically note why, so I think this how I came to lose 2 BI's:

1. Played 2 long. Look at the graph, got back to even but wanted to try to win 1 BI before I quit. Bad.

2. I chased it. Look at the red line, forcing the action and trying to drag my green line up with my red line, near impossible at 2NL.

3. I spewed. Maybe. I certainly tried a few "good" bluffs, but of course even after a time bank time by the villain they are always calling.

4. I lost a couple big pots to put me in negative instead of even. It so fucking hard to get back from 1 BI down at 2NL let alone 2 BI's and this really tilts me knowing that the rest of my session is gonna be a grind just to get back to even. Sigh

5. I look at the graph too much. I think this made me force things too much and become somewhat slightly obsessed with getting to even.

6. By trying to force the action I played a decent pre flop range for 10NL or 25NL - but not 2NL, I guess I played 2 loose and by doing this I in turn ended up trying to bluff to much.

That is pretty much it. Not happy with the session but happy I can see how I played bad. Gonna try a few sessions without looking at my graph until the end. See if this helps. If anyone has any thoughts on what to do at 2NL with regards to losing a BI early on into your session would love to hear them. Must not be afraid of it happening, but it sure does suck. Perhaps losing a BI at 2NL is a leak?  Can that be a leak?
