$50 - $2,500 Day #8/100
Bankroll; May17/10: $50.75
Current Bankroll: $134.39
Total Hands: 7,849
I got home from my weekend away at around 5:30pm this evening to the hottest day of the year (33 degrees in May - Hawt for NS, Canada). Banged out 1,500 hands fairly quick. Didn't have a great start. Was down over 5 buy-ins. I then took a short break and started running hot, winning back 10 buy-ins. Playing 6-tables of 4nl on Ipoker is swingy.

I'm Happy to have 8k hands in despite having 2 days off. This holds true to my goal of 100,000 hands during this project. Looking forward though I think I'll need upwards of 150k-200k to make this happen. Over the next 2 weeks I plan on playing 25,000 hands because I think I'll have a weekend at home where I can get in 6k hands. Also I'm watching ep.  7 of coaching kristy tn. Loving that series. Baluga videos are always 2nd to none when it comes to depth of thinking. I gotta add I was extremely impressed with FenderJag's first DC vid.  Awesome stuff
Anyways, good couple sessions tonight. On my way to taking shots at 10nl by the end of the week. Fingers are crossed.

Keep it up! there isn't much difference skillwise between 4NL and 10NL so i'm pretty sure you'll manage. and indeed, the coaching kristy series are awesome, learning a ton from it.

Thanks skorzy! Yea, I've played 50k hands or so @ 10nl. I basically know what to expect from 2nl-200nl lol

well played! you don't use stop-losses, right? I can't play without it.
by the way, somewhere in your blog I saw you mentioned about your tilt log. could you say how it works? ty.

I don't really have set stop losses but I try to stop playing if i'm 'emotionally comprimised haha'
The tilt log is pretty simple. If I tilt, I write it down (date it/summerize what happened). The purpose is to make you aware of tilting and why its happening. The higher your awareness of emotions the better you can control them. Another idea I stole from somewhere was wearing a rubber band around your wrist when you play. Snap it when you feel some sort of anxiety at the tables. It will just highten your consiousness and make you more alert of whats going on.

the idea with tilt log is pretty nice. I think I should use it too.
the stop-losses system I have is so not flexible:
sometimes, playing good, I can loss few buy-ins because of statistic and stop the session.
and sometimes I could understand that I play bad and continue the session just because I haven't loss my 3 BI yet, for example.
and that is not the end of the drawbacks list.
good luck on the tables, caperbii!
