Life of a Low Stakes Grinder

Frustrating to see that rake free friday’s on bet365 only added ‘pending bonus dollars’ to my account and not just deposited the money back in. So that puts my BR @ $74.71 and still playing 2NL. I find it hard to believe that I have played almost 5,000 hands at 2NL this week. That in itself I feel is an accomplishment. I feel a little weird about blogging about these microstakes but the blog really does keep me focused so they are going to keep coming haha.

So my girlfriend bailed for the weekend. She went home to Truro to spend time with her family. This is great for poker. I got 1,700 hands in yesterday when it was all said and done. Today I plan on playing less but better quality. I’ve now got a feel for these micros and I probably lost like 3 buyins when donks just ship 80bbs into 20 on say a 677Ax board. This means they HAVE THE 7. I ran into that hand and called with AQ. This is a common move at this level so hopefully I won’t call again with a weak holding.

So today I want to get the BR over $80 and move to 4NL. $10 of my pending $232 bonus should release today. (It takes so fcking long to release @ 2NL)

As far as a hand goal goes: 1,000 hands seems about right.

Went to the gym then put in a good session to win 3 buy-ins @ 4NL – Poker is played at its best 30 minutes after exercise. That fact alone can do wonders for your game -

Fcking hammering these micros today lollll. Up $30 today in 600 hands. Not bad for 2 and 4NL. $10 of my bonus gonna release soon so I can move to the 4NL EURO game @ $110. ($4usd = $5.40ish EURO). Think I’m going to watch a video and study for exams – P!
