The first session back
Well… Following all the rules kinda sucks sometimes. But, I guess it is what I need to do. So, I went back to the basics. I tightened up my preflop range again, folded a lot more, and kept my session to 1 hour (63.7 minutes to be exact). Unfortunately, with the two table rule (and a really slow table) that only resulted in 179 hands. Not to mention that my studying has been lacking and I could only play for 1 hour because of my 4:1 study to play ratio.
Here are the results…
25NL
64 minutes
179 hands
VPIP% – 20.9
PFR% – 18.6
3bet% – 5.9
AggFct – 2.63
WTSD% – 7.4
W$SD% – 50
Result – +$4.31
Not much to say about this session other than nothing really happened. I rarely made it to showdown and a lot of the stats are meaningless. I will keep YTD stats so I can see how they wash out over time. However, you can see I don’t put in a lot of hands, so it will be a while.
Hopefully, things will get more exciting (in a good way).

What rules are you referring to?

I made a list of rules in my previous post that I was going to follow for my return to poker. In essence, it was to ensure that I studied enough, played smarter, and avoided tilt, etc.
So, I had to play reasonably tight and could only play for one hour. Hense, a whopping $4 profit.
