- I’m currently 10 buy ins away from moving back up to 100. While there hasn’t been too much poker content in the blog I’ll start incorporating some session reviews into it. Hopefully it’ll not only help me but my readers as well. Also, when I start to get more involved in the math part of the game I’ll be double checking it on here as well. Back to my original point, I’m extremely excited to move back up to 100 but the time at 50 was definitely good for me and my game.
- I was able to lose 7 pounds in December and now just 8 pounds away from my goal. Unfortunately I gained a pound back due to the holidays however the plan is to lose anywhere between 8-10 pounds in January and then keep it off. It’ll be much easier to do so leading into the spring since baseball season will start up and with hitting fungos, throwing BP, etc. I’ll be forced to be active 5 days a week as well.
- I’m very excited with what the Redsox are doing this winter. Knowing they’re not going to be able to outslug the Yankees and that hitting costs more than defense, they’ve gone after outstanding defensive players. Mike Cameron and Adrian Beltre are very good defensively. Furthermore, while Scutaro isn’t great the left side of the Redsox defense may have been the worst in the majors last year while this year they should be among the best. Also, their infield defense will be outstanding which will help guys like Lester, who got killed by his defense last year and Buchholz who has turned into a ground ball machine.
- I have another HH prop bet with Pasterbator this month. I’ve scaled it back to 35k hands, which shouldn’t be a problem. However I don’t want any months like last year where I only put in 10k hands and was just unproductive. While I haven’t gotten to the point where I’ve started treating it like it was a job, I’m getting there and hopefully i can become a better grinder in 2010.
