Humbling Game
- So I joined a softball league with my buddies for the fall. Last night was our first game and I did something I didn't think was possible in softball, I struck out looking. Honestly the sun was brutal and I couldn't see the ball but wow there's not too many worse feeling. The worst part about it was I saw it land and was like "oh wow, that's embarrassing". Fortunately I went 2-3 the rest of the way so it wasn't all bad, but wow that was brutal.
- Had our DC fantasy draft last night. I like my team although it is sort of high risk high reward. I typically always have the same fantasy draft strategy. It generally varies if its a PPR league but I always go for skill players early and my QB late. I don't think I've ever drafted a QB that was ranked in the top 5 in the preseason rankings. It's always worked out pretty well although I've had years where I was scrambling.
- Fenway on Monday and Tuesday. Despite the team being out of the race I couldn't be more excited.
- Also, for Arrested Development fans out there our softball team name is T.B.D.
