- First of all, live poker is so different. I'm not used to having more than one person in the pot, seeing no 3 betting, seeing limpers all over the place, etc. Some guy told me not to raise the button when folded to me so the blinds could chop, it's just different. I'm enjoying playing live this week but don't think I would be able to do it a ton.
- However I'm having a blast, the Bellagio is great, the pool is awesome and so is the sportsbook. Watching games you bet on while drinking whatever is awesome.
- Met up with the DC crew last night at the 10k PL Hold em event at the Rio. Unfortunately the Rio stopped serving beer near the poker room and people were just trying to hoard it in, but we drank and chatted for a while and I heard all about the golf prop bets that are taking place this summer. However after seeing the guys last night, Thursday night at O'Sheas is going to be very interesting. I'm sure there'll be a ton of stories.
- Speaking of the sports book, I woke up at 8 today since I'm still on east coast time and headed down to the sportsbook at like the 65 minute mark of the US-Algeria game. I went by myself so I didn't have anyone to celebrate with but when Donovan scored the goal in the 91st minute it was one of the cooler things I've seen. Keep in mind that everyone is an adult. When the ball went into the net there were simultaneous actions of people putting their hands in the air, screaming, and running around the sportsbook. It's a scene I won't ever forget.
does not consist in never making blunders, but
making the same one a second time.
