Bad Cable, Reasonable Last Year
I've been having quite bad problems with my internet connection the last few months. I am getting refunded from Sept. until Feb. when the fix is predicted to be made. At the moment I am having trouble with contention and it is so bad I often don't play during peak times, this problem seemed to start more or less overnight and I don't really understand why. I have had this cable for 2 years with mostly 50M scores on speed tests, and now I often only get 0.2M, has one of the neighbors set up an on-line video business? Anyway it should get resolved in a few weeks.
On the poker front I did fine in STTs but just have not played enough. I think this year I will try to get in some volume and some more higher stakes. I am still not 'officially' beating the $22s but I am fairly sure it is mostly bad luck. I have still only played about 100 and my $EV adjusted ROI is 15, sadly I am still on -2 actual - oh well at least it should be esy to get this improved.
I think in the next few weeks I will try to get more comfortable 6 or 8 tabling and try a few more longer sessions and see if I can maintain a reasonble ROI at the $11s. I'll keep trying a few $22s. In general I am hoping to get in perhaps 5 times as many but I will take each day as it comes.
Well here is last years graph, not many played but at least it was profitable and I do still think I am improving all the time even though the last bit looks bad.
