Week in review
This is my first blogpost, but I don’t have much to say. I’ve played about 30~k hands ever, lost a few small deposits and after a long break I’m back into poker. Just can’t seem to stay away :)
It still seems that all I know are some preflop ranges, good cards to cbet and which might be good to double barrel.. beyond that I still feel like I’m praying for cards. One of my goals for this month was to “stop feeling like a robot could play better than meâ€. Can’t say I’ve achieved that. Only other goal was to put in 7500 hands, can’t say I’ll achieve that either. I’m honestly not too optimistic about poker these days. Maybe it’s just the way I’ve been playing, but it seems those small nuances in poker where skill supersedes luck are still abstract and feel far away. And I can’t seem to let myself win. When I win, it was just luck… when I lose, it was a bad decision. It’s been hard finding people to sweat/talk with, but I don’t blame them seeing as I don’t bring much (if anything) to the table for them to benefit from on their end. Enough of the pity party, onto the graph!
Here’s the past 10 days:

As you can see, the motions seem to go win a stack, slowly dwindle downwards, win a stack etc.. I think that’s a problem with my non-showdown winnings but I could be wrong. Guess that’s something to work on.
