Looking for more people to talk about hands with
Not much going on as far as poker goes. I would like more people to discuss hands with from 25NL-100NL. We could AIM it up! It helps to have people to come up with and are going through the same struggles. While I have a great coach and and really good friend who is a degen they are a little more advanced than I am at this point in my poker career. By a little I mean a lot! Besides these two I don’t have anyone who takes poker quite as seriously as me. All my other friends just aren’t people I want to ask advice on 3BET pots with or understand the poker world.
Post your AIM and your first name in my comment box if you’re interested.
My dad, as much as we don’t get along, gave me some great advice. He said if you want to be a loser, hang out with losers. If you want to be a lawyer, hang out with lawyers. If you want to be a garbage man, be the BEST! Basically if you’re going to do something give 110% and the people you hang out with will have a direct influence on that. I have seen this transpire not only in my life but in people close to me. We don’t like to believe that the people around us have that much influence on us but in actuallity they do. We see it all the time in poker. A group of friends who crew together and become sick at poker. The first of which we were really exposed to was “the crew” with Scott Fischman, Dutch Boyd, etc. I don’t want to half ass poker so if you aren’t that serious then don’t bother
So, since I would like to one day be considered one of the best poker players in the world, I feel like I should surround myself with as many great minds as possible :)
