DraftDay Thanksgiving Throwdown
I'm not sure if anyone would be interested but I have been degening pretty hard on Fantasy Sports as of late. Theres this new site, Draftday, that structures fantasy sports games like a poker tournament!
Our very own Joe Tall of course is crushing it there on a week by week basis. I did pretty well the first few weeks but got carried away the last 2 a chopped my bankroll down a bit.
It's fine though because I'm ready to get back at it. I created a private 100 Person $10 tournament on there. The guys on DraftDay are nice enough to add $5 to the prize pool for every new person I add to the tournament.
It is the Holidays and I am one of your own so help me fill this tournament and get a giant prize pool going! If you're interested shoot me an e-mail at ashghaemi@gmail.com, twitter me at ArashGhaemi or Skype me at Arash.Ghaemi so I can send you an invite and give you the password and of course get the referral fee. No shame in my game.
I'm sick of hearing the excuse "But I'm already in a league." I know you're upset that you're out of the running but all is not lost.
The thing about sites like DraftDay, FanDuel and DraftStreet. Its not really a huge time commitment unless you want it to be. Between depositing and picking your line up it takes a whole 10 minutes of your time. Its not a year long commitment and if you don't like it you don't have to deposit again.
The truth is though if you like to gamble, play poker or bet on any type of sports you will love it! I prefer it over betting on spreads.
The whole thing reeks of internet poker. Even if you've never played Fantasy Sports but have played Multi Table tournaments then you will do just fine playing any of the games they have to offer.
If you are in a league you are probably one of three spots:
1. You're crushing it and are about to cruise into the playoffs
2. You're on the brink and need a few things to go your way to make it
3. You're already out and don't even want to bother setting your line-up
This is a great excuse regardless of any of the above 3 scenarios to degen even harder than usual on Fantasy Sports.
