Checking dark in live poker
Players are still doing it. They will always do it with middle pairs. If they miss they check fold. If they raise they flopped a set. Thats it.
There seems to be a lot of loose passive nits, if that makes any sense. They have a loose limping range but play fit or fold post flop.
Bet sizing is weird in live. They telegraph the strength of their hands with raise sizing. They raise a large amount with big pairs they're uncomfortable with like TT, JJ and QQ. Old nits will to it with AA and KK then show you when everyone folds.
Micro tilt, as I like to call it, seems to be where you make the most money off these players. They will suddenly make erratic spewey plays for a variety of reasons. One of them being losing the other is sheer boredom. I think they flip flop through different mind sets. At one point they don't want to look stupid and then when they get bored they will make strange erratic plays at pots. They will take bad top pair hands to the end if they haven't been in any hands for a while.
More observations will come
