This is my brain on poker

As I was sitting at work this morning trying to write an educational blog about finance I did a double take and realized my head was somewhere else. Combine that with the fact I had dreamt about multi tabling tournaments last night and you'll see where my heads at.....Word for word:

"The thing is there will always be pros and cons to anything you do. The best thing to do is to educate yourself before just venturing onto a flop and just winging it"

What I had meant to say venture onto "a lot and winging it"

Must be on the right path. Especially after re-reading AEJones classic 2+2 Thread called the obsession. Heres a quote from it:

"During nearly this entire maturation process, most of us who strive to ‘be the best’ were obsessed to some degree. I know you sat in freshman composition class, did not read the assigned chapters the previous night, and did math problems with win rates and tried to figure out how much money you were going to make this week, this month, and this year. I know if you ever took the time to learn equity calcs that you sat in the back of algebra and figured out how much fold equity you needed preflop to 4-bet shove Ax in a bvb battle. I know you skipped your 8am chemistry class because you were up until 6am getting unstuck".

Or I'm just losing my mind......
