Back To The Trap House

So where are my results? Well, first off I just recently switched from Playing on Poker stars to Full Tilt. I must say the games are much juicer!! On PS’s you have to deal with all those nitty Super Novas. Not so on Full Tilt.

Just look at the difference on PTR. On PS’s my Screen name is AshThePro. On Fulltilt my screen name is Amoney12345.

It’s just so simple. Fold more and pretend that everyone has something. I look in the forums on DC every so often and see people in these now obvious folding situations. Give these people credit.

Until you get up to mid stakes or higher if you don’t learn how to grind and fold then you will NEVER move up and I can prop bet you on that.

So remember next time you play; Front end and back end must be in balance to move on to level 2. You can read all the advanced theory you want but when it comes down to it you have to fold to win at low stakes. I’m probably good enough to beat 200NL but unless I get the back end of my game down pat I’ll be humping 50NL and 100NL until I say fuck it and give up. The problem with that is I’m stubborn and I’ll never give up on this game.

In other news: I will be moving to Vegas to play for a living with my backer and his other students. I retired from school and don’t ever plan on going back. When ever I go on forums I see people ask, should I go pro? And the general answer is take the safe route, get your degree, save up money, grind micro stakes to see if you can handle it, get a part time job.

I say FUCK THAT! I strongly believe that if you truly and wholeheartedly love something you should go for it and I promise you that 9 times out of 10 it will work out. Will I fail? You’re damn right I will fail and I can’t wait because I will learn until I get it right.

I would like to coach micro stakes and above eventually as well and have asked one of the producers on here on how I could become a coach. He responded with how will I advance the 50NL and 100NL community? Well, I don’t know how I’m going to do it exactly but I will. I think you will see me posting in the forums more and blogging more often until I get a coaching offer or find students to coach.

Also, for the few of you who have been following my blog from the beginning I would like to thank you and also disregard the first entry somewhat. I will be changing my goals for the upcoming year so some of them aren’t on my agenda anymore.
