Full Circle

I think I’m gonna be sick. I blogged about breaching the $400 bankroll mark, then rose up to just shy of $800.

Now I don’t even have $400 anymore

Least I’m playing better now… tho clearly there’s room for improvement >.>

For anyone else who’s learning to wrap their head around SNG variance, I recommend Last Man Standing Episode 8, in which AMT explains that you can have huge swings even across decent sample sizes. Lucky for me, mine is not even a decent sample yet . I think he said 500 games is the beginning of a decent sample size and 2000 is more definitive.

The volume aspect of things is making me want to play more turbos, I tried some yesterday and I ended up getting in twice as many games as usual and it was less annoying than usual. But of course, if this, points at graph is what variance in regular speeds is like, I’m freaked out about what turbo variance will do…

The solution to that, I think, is nittier BR management .

Well done for keeping at it anyway. I haven't played a hand in months. I just got so bored of it all and have finally realised that poker is not for me. That said I may put $10 on stars and play some penny 08. Those games are funny.

ahh, the variance is killing, that's why imo having a job and play poker as extra cash is much less stress and painful then grinding micro stake for living
