day 1

I woke up this morning with the door bell ringing in my ears. The electrician was round to change something with the fuse box. He did his thing while I had some healthy breakfast, porridge oats with raisins.

After he was done I strolled down to work and handed in my notice, oh yes that was a good feeling!

Then i went to the shop and got a Fiji apple. These apples are something else, let me tell you. Best apples going. Delicious, I’m going to make it a daily ritual to walk over the hill, round the corner and into Morrison and get myself one of these bad boys.

I got home and had some green tea and took my supplements, rhodiola and some multivitamins, then turned on the PC and started running Table Scanner.

This was the first session I had used table scanner and it seemed to say there were alot of good tables going, so I 6 tabled. However, I’m not so sure on their scoring system because they seemed to be just tight 20/18 and 16/14 guys at all tables with no real droolers. Anyway the session went well and I took a break around 600 hands in. Got some lunch, some nice pasta and mixed vegetable beans, then messed around on Skype and DC for a while.

Second session I followed the same protocol, just loading HEM and running the table scanner, signing up for a bunch of waiting lists. When I got playing the tables were a bit better overall than earlier but pretty similar. Grinded out a win and then quit around 600 hands in again.

aside from poker I have some other commitments I made to myself, like putting in an hour every day on my online TEFL modules and also reading a bit of Baluga’s book every day. Success on both counts. Then had some porkchops for tea which were lovely and went to play Basketball for York seniors vs Leeds mens.

The game was good where we held a slight lead all the way up until the midway of the third quarter, where I got totally gassed and couldnt keep up to game speed anymore, we also changed from man to 2front3back zone, which was a poor choice instead we should have had 3front2back as they had one guy who nailed 6 three pointers that quarter. Alas we lost by around 20 points in the end, but it was cool anyway I like the exercise.

Got back had nice shower, then played the last session. Ran like hell. Happy with MOST of the decisions I made though, wouldnt have changed much except for 1 or 2 hands I overplayed. Ended the day terribly, but that’s the way the month has been going overall, running 11 bi under EV in the last 10k hands. which is fun. But like CHUCK NORRIS – YOU GOTTA GET TOUGHER!

Here’s my graph for today, I will post my graph every day i think:

And here’s the hands i thought were in some way interesting:

infact no im not going to post a load of beats

See you tomorro, i’ll be waking up and going to get me a Fiji apple!

Pyynö

Hey !

Just want to say good luck w Ur project.

One thing about table scanner (I use other programm): waitlists. Since all Tags/Lags have scanner, waitlists are full of em. So by the time U get to ur selected/waited table, its full of regs. No fun, if U R after easy monie. So what to do ? I pick those tables wheres no long waitlist. Other table parameters suffer a bit, but U can still find Ok ones w high VPIP and so on...

Good luck
