What do you think is the difference between you and players who don’t tilt (or tilt less)?
They win more, lose less, play better for longer and quit when they no longer feel like they are playing their best
How do you know when you should quit a session?
Anytime I make a bad decision, or an emotional decision
Describe how you feel/think/play when you are on tilt?
I feel rushed, act too quickly, feel under pressure, and think about the money
Describe how you feel/think/play when you are not on tilt?
I think about ranges, players left to act behind, i take my time to make the best decision, and think about how I am percieved at the table as well as the emotional state of the villains still in the hand
Can you think of a time when you were on tilt and you managed to play yourself out of tilt?
occasionally, but that depended on winning very large pots in cooler/set up spots - usually it ends up worseÂ
Let’s say you were on tilt and kept playing how would you know if you weren’t on tilt anymore?
I would begin playing rationally and taking into account all factors again, usually though I would just quit when I had emotionally enoughÂ
Describe your focus when you are playing your A game?
I know what the villain will do before they do it, and I plan ahead every decision and streetÂ
What do you think is a positive reaction/perspective with regards to facing a bad beat?
Think that they were in the process of paying me off but then just got lucky, sit out from the table and take a walkÂ
