day 11
didnt update this in nearly a week but ive been pretty lazy and kinda busy
Last weekend went to my cousin’s birthday in sheffielf for pub golf, i never really done pub golf but ive done alot of drinking in my time so i was well up for it, he’d arranged score cards and everything. my brother was so bad at drinking it was unreal, heres the scorecard with me on the left and him on the right:

ended up @ 02 in sheff and then somehow we all get got chucked out at about 2am, it was a funny night, woke up next morning in full pub golf wear from the previous night and got onto an english breakfast to help nurse the hangover. Stayed again next day and night and chilled at my bros house playing wii all afternoon then went round my cousins house in the night and watched rick james on youtube with a few joints. Then went back to york and worked my final shift on the sunday at that was fucking liberating!
next day i didnt play any pokers instead just started to plan my trip to thailand abit clearer. I started looking online for flights, and getting the general consensus from the thailand group as to when everyone was thinking of leaving. I went to a couple of travel agents on the hight street but they seemed to have no available flights for new year time, so i gave up for a couple of days.
Next day I went to PCworld and bought myself a lovely laptop Acer Aspire Timeline 5810T with 4GB ddr3 ram, 500GB hd, and some gfx card which will play most stuff. I’m typing away on this now and I can say I’m very pleased with it, and windows 7 is pretty good. I can actually DO STUFF on this laptop without it having a brain freeze every 10mins like my old desktop, but to be fair to my last pc it was nearly 5 years old!
While the battery was charging on the new laptop i spent that night round my mates house who cooked an absolutely fucking fabulous duck with sweet potatoe and swede mash, roast potatoes and carrots with some immense gravyserved with about 3 bottles of wine, a bottle of port, and 14 beers and ales between us! epic.
The next day after that I woke up looked on expedia and decided to book my flights – I got a 1 way direct flight from London on the 7th Jan arriving in Bkk @ just before 4pm on the 8th! The flights were pretty much perfect as it was under £400 and landing only 30minutes after Arnaud from france who will be living out in Thailand with me !
Yesterday I went and got my Visa from the Royal Thai Consulate in Hull, which was £110 and allows me to stay in thailand for a year with multiple re-entry :) stoked
so, now its time to get serious and start grinding for the next 6 weeks before I fly out. Thankfully ladbrokes have added some 40nl €uro tables which is nice to break up the 50nl €uro games from swings, and they play more similar to 20nl in the good way that 50nl plays more similar to 100nl if that makes sense?
anyways, im lookin fwd to getting back into playing properly again now, as opposed to last night when i just bought several bottles of Badger Ale from the local shop and pissed around playing 2nl shoving all in for 20mins until I got bored. -$47 later I thought i had enriched the nanostakes players sufficiently and called it a night..
today, played about 40mins so far and up €20, need to put more hands in before the end of the month so im gona play a 3 hour session tonight, i was captivated by this video all day, it was great. after i watched that i wanted to go experience nature so off i went on a run, and now inspired enough to write this, and here we are..
see you tomor
