gibralter11 wins 2010 SCOOP-04-H $1575.00 FL Badugi event at PokerStars!
I’m finding that if you’re part of the small percentage of people who actually enjoy playing Badugi you probably love the game. Otherwise you hate it. It’s that kind of game. It’s a ton of fun but if you let it the game can REALLY get under your skin. If you’re twisted enough to be here reading then yesterday was a good day for you because it was a good day for Badugi.
PokerStars started it’s annual Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) event for 2010 and this year there was badugi at three different levels. A $16.50 (L), $162.00 (M) and the $1575.00 (H) championship. PokerStars posted $150,000.00 in guaranteed money across the three events but over 2800 entries made sure that each tourney had more than the minimum guarantee in each prize pool!
All three tournaments ran right about 14 hours making it a grueling run for anyone not prepared to go the long haul. I really wanted to watch the final tables live but I was really looking forward to watching as much of the action as I could and in the end I woke up just after they finished LOL! Here are the top three finishers in each event.
